East Surrey Choral Society is based in Caterham, although our members are drawn from a wide area of Surrey.
We meet once a week to rehearse and we perform three concerts throughout the year: Easter, summer and Christmas. Repetoire for these concerts varies greatly; our summer concert often includes light operetta, musicals and folk songs whereas we generally tackle more serious, sacred, traditional choral music for the Easter concert. Our Christmas concert is usually an eclectic mix of everything festive including both sacred and secular music.
Rehearsals take place every Tuesday (in term time) from 7:45 - 10pm at the Centenary Hall, Essendene Road, Caterham CR3 5PA
We are a community choir, and our door is always open to those who love to sing; we do not hold auditions and we are always pleased to welcome new members.
